Peter Andre dubbed Strictly Come Dancing’s ‘vainest celeb ever’
The “Behind Closed Doors” hitmaker took to the dancefloor for the first time last weekend, but spouse Emily McDonagh had to watch his routine on television because he didn’t want her presence to put him off. “I said if you want to win you are going to have to up your game”.
Speaking to The Mirror at the Pride of Britain Awards, she said: “I think if you are someone who is going to have an affair it would be part of your personality and you would do it regardless. It really is quite hardcore”, she explained. “You’ve got to drive through”.
Despite talk of plans to quit the show to have a baby with her husband, ex-Strictly dancer James Jordan, 37, Ola wouldn’t rule out returning next year.
She said: “Penny Lancaster… was unbelievable. Everyone’s great, and we are all bonding well”.
“It was by far the most nerve-wracking thing I have ever done”.
Meanwhile, Alesha – who has 22-month-old daughter Azura with boyfriend Azuka Ononye – also confessed to being hungover during rehearsals for the final of ‘Strictly…’ in 2007. The couple are parents to two-year-old daughter Azura.
However, the 50-year-old was given a compliment by the head judge: “I enjoyed watching you, Jeremy”.
“No, it was just a figure of speech”.
And she hinted she may even take matters into her own hands. It said in the paper I was married. Matthew Cutler, who was my dancing partner, and I went out and had a party to celebrate the fact we were in the final, got to dress rehearsal on the Friday.
Sarah Millican, Gareth Thomas, Gareth Malone and Morrissey also appear on Alan Carr Chatty Man, which airs on Channel 4 on October 2 at 10pm.
