Peyton Manning: Allegation of HGH use is ‘complete trash, garbage’
ESPN and Peter King have both misreported on the Peyton Manning scandal.
The source of the allegation that Manning used human growth hormone backed off the report even before “The Dark Side: Secrets of the Sports Dopers” was broadcast Sunday night, according to Business Insider. Al Jazeera conceded the disavowal in its online version of the piece.
In the Manning part of the report, Al Jazeera is tossing out an incomplete part of a story and letting the viewer make the assumptions linking Peyton Manning to HGH. “It never happened. Never”, Manning said in a statement released by the Broncos. Truthfully, I don’t put much stock into anything (that’s being reported)…
The reporter behind a blockbuster expose – that accused Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and other top athletes of sports doping – defended the story in an interview with MSNBC on Monday. Manning took to ESPN on Sunday morning to speak on the matter.
The NFL will reportedly do its due diligence of investigating the since-recanted report, but Manning has adamantly denied it in every facet, calling it “completely fabricated”. “In fact, I can say with absolute certainty they are not”, Guyer said. But because of those who have come before with indignant denials, then been found guilty – plus the others we all know are guilty but haven’t been convicted – I read the stories on Manning.
“Throughout his National Football League career, particularly during his four seasons with the Broncos, Peyton has shown nothing but respect for the game”, the Broncos said.
Al Jazeera is standing firm behind its explosive report that links Peyton Manning’s wife to banned drugs dispensed by an anti-aging clinic. That recantation covers a great deal of conversation, considering that Al Jazeera recorded more than 27 hours of tape with Sly over seven meetings.
Right now it’s one person talking on an Al Jazeera documentary, which means it doesn’t sound too credible.
Davies said she also wanted to know what medical condition may have required Ashley Manning to be prescribed HGH drugs. I’d go to Florida.
Another player named in the report, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison, said he has looked into legal action only to be told it wouldn’t be worth the cost. “To be clear, I am recanting any such statements and there is no truth to any statement of mine that Al Jazeera plans to air”. “Someone who worked there said they had been there before”.
“When you secretly film someone, you have to have a very strong justification for doing it”, she said.
