Peyton Manning expected to retire, not return to Broncos no matter what
Football fans reacted to the Denver Broncos’ 24-10 win over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50. “We all had a percentage in this Super Bowl win”.
Cam Newton reportedly spoke for about three minutes in the post game conference after the losing his first Super Bowl game to Peyton Manning.
He completed completed 13 of 23 passes for 141 yards and one interception and his team never trailed despite having the fewest total yards by a Super Bowl victor.
But, in recently released footage by a Twitter user, we see there may have been another, “less immature” reason Cam chose to get up and end his press conference. The former Auburn star also lost two fumbles – one was recovered for a touchdown and the other set up a Denver TD. Defensive lineman Malik Jackson pounced on the loose ball in the end zone which gave Denver a 10-0 lead with 6:34 left in the first quarter. No, as we have pretty much expected recently, Sunday night was more than likely the last game that he will play as the signal caller in Denver as the leader of the Broncos offense. “I don’t know what you want me to say”, Newton said. I’ll take some time to reflect.
But with Miller leading a defense that recorded a Super Bowl record-tying seven sacks and forced four turnovers for the Broncos (15-4), Manning ended an up-and-down, injury-riddled season with another title. You’ve got guys who analyze the game. “And before we even stepped out there on the field, we felt like it was for us to take, and that’s what we went out there and did”, Ware said on “CBS This Morning”.
Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said Miller’s work ethic and love for the game propelled him to the MVP honour.
So, what did you think about Sunday night’s game?
