Peyton Manning has a little fun with little brother Eli
It had to happen: Super Bowl-winning quarterback Peyton Manning responded on Wednesday night to concerns about the – um, ambivalent – reaction that brother Eli had to Sunday’s game-sealing touchdown.
“You know they were pretty nice to me”, Eli said.
But even if Budweiser insists it didn’t give him money directly for the plugs, did Manning have anything to gain by prioritizing the brand just below his family and just above god?
First, Ellen DeGeneres hosted Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller, who said that his job was to make sure the other guy had a disgusting day. He did, however, decide to have a little fun with little brother, too. By no he must have seen the bummed-out look on Eli’s face after C.J.
After a 2014 AFC playoff game against the San Diego Chargers he said he was going to have a Bud Light.
“I had dreams growing up that I would maybe have a chance to play Magic one-on-one someday”. Johnson then began extolling the virtues of playing in Los Angeles and reiterated his desire to see Manning become a Ram.
Also on the show, Manning challenged Johnson in a game of “Egg Russian Roulette”, a game in which contestants take turns smashing eggs into their foreheads. The first person to crack open two raw eggs lost.
