Peyton Manning: Jim Bob Cooter has greatest name in SEC history
Peyton Manning brought up an interesting argument Tuesday during media interviews leading up to Super Bowl 50. “I know there’s talk about the conversation I had with (Bill) Belichick two weeks ago against New England”. Manning spent 10 seasons in Indianapolis with Christensen, including a Super Bowl win during the 2006 season when Christensen was offensive coordinator and receivers coach.
Of that exchange, Manning said, “That was not pre-planned. It was a spontaneous reaction”, Manning told reporters.
“Hey, you’re sharp. You’re well dressed and you’re smart and you’re sharp”, Manning said with a smile, before demurring on that particular question. I had some injuries and some things occurred. “It’s been part of my football life and both of those guys have been part of good for me and not so good for me”.
The 39-year-old Manning has seen his health and physical ability diminish in recent years, and most believe he will try to go out on top this weekend before calling it quits.
“What I said was true”. Meanwhile, the 38-year-old Brady played like he was 28 during the season and looks like he capable of producing a few more impressive seasons.
Denton demonstrated that he has a great future in the business as he fired off three questions to Manning. Belichick’s going to coach until he’s 90. “Just to kind of go one week at a time has really helped me not get too far ahead”.
Those nostalgic words sounds like a guy who is planning to retire.
Let’s compare Manning’s overall season to those of other Super Bowl starting QBs over the years.
