Peyton Manning Received Performance-enhancing Drugs From Indiana Pharmacist, Reports Al Jazeera
Famed Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning denied reports that he used Human Growth Hormone (HGH) in 2011, calling a controversial Al Jazeera report, that exploded over the weekend, “fabricated” and “complete garbage”.
The report claimed that steroids and other drugs were shipped to Manning’s home in 2011 in the name of his wife, Ashley, so that the quarterback’s name was never attached to the shipments.

Dr. Dale Guyer, who started The Guyer Institute, says “with absolute certainty” that the allegations about Manning are false.
“We’re not making the allegation against Peyton Manning”, Davies said, sounding surprised that anyone would possibly think that a documentary which has a man on hidden camera saying growth hormone was sent to Ashley Manning would in any way lead to a conclusion about Peyton Manning.
Al Jazeera’s reporter from the documentary said Tuesday that there are not any allegations made against Peyton Manning. According to Sly, part of the recovery process involved shipping HGH, which was banned by the National Football League since 1991, to Manning’s wife, Ashley.
Sly told ESPN that he “made up” the story about Manning.
Ian Rapoport, NFL reporter, later confirmed that Ashley Manning was indeed a patient of the clinic. Following publication of the Al Jazeera documentary, he recorded a video recanting his statements to Collins. Theres no need to because I know what Ive done, Harrison said, later adding its not even a conversation to me. Manning joined the Broncos in 2012 and had a record-setting run, going 47-15 until he tore the plantar fascia in his left foot on November 15. But he also told ESPN, “Any medical treatments in my life that my wife receives, that’s her business”. Sly said in the report.
A very short section and a very convenient section for Al Jazeera because of the attention it brought to a story that otherwise wouldn’t have generated much attention.
“Charlie Sly’s claims would involve many other top players, but his most astonishing allegation concerns an icon of American sport”, Davies said at another point in the documentary, as Manning’s number 18 jersey appeared on the screen.
“Absolutely not, absolutely not”, Manning said. “Under no circumstances should any of those recordings, statements or communications be aired”. An attorney for Phillies slugger Ryan Howard has also threatened litigation against Al Jazeera.
