Phil Jones makes successful Manchester United U21 return
6-0, 70 min, Tosu-Mensah.
Will Keane scored a remarkable five goals as Manchester United’s U21 side smashed Norwich City 7-0 on Monday. The pair combined for a second time two minutes after the break as Keane completed his hat-trick – but the former England Under-21 worldwide was not finished there.
While big-money additions Memphis Depay and Anthony Depay haven’t always impressed for the first team so far this season, the likes of Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira have demonstrated that they may be set for long and successful careers at Old Trafford.

Januzaj’s injury was a blot on the evening for United, as was Guillermo Varela also sustaining a problem in front of the watching Louis van Gaal and Ryan Giggs.
Memphis held back his cross, which caught the defender out, before he played the ball across the box to Keane, who was left with a tap-in. He has found his goal touch in Warren Joyce’s Under-21s side though. Phil Jones and Memphis Depay are both included in the squad, which should get many fickle fans moaning as Memphis was apparently the cause of United’s draw against Chelsea yesterday, despite not being responsible for conceding the equaliser a minute into injury time.
Fosu-Mensah calmly finished for his first goal at under-21 level and Keane followed that with his fifth of the game after some clever play in the midfield.
