Pinellas Park man wanted for attacking infant
The boy, who is not being identified, remains hospitalized in serious condition with bleeding on his brain.
A Florida man is being searched for after he allegedly kicked, punched and bit an 11-month-old boy who was in his care.
It’s not clear what relationship Neal had with the child.
Pinellas Park investigators responded to the All Children’s Hospital on July 5 following reports that a baby was admitted with a severe head injury. In one of those arrests, “court records show deputies attempted to pull Neal over in St. Petersburg for changing lanes erratically and he led them on a high speed chase with a 2-year-old girl in the vehicle”, according to Bay News 9. He was in the home of the child and was responsible for the care and custody of him, police say.
Investigators ask anyone with information on Neal’s whereabouts to call the police department.
Police say Neal has a violent criminal history that includes charges of child neglect, resisting arrest and battery on a law enforcement officer. You can also submit a tip anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers, 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
