Pirates’ Sean Rodriguez makes peace with water cooler
Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Sean Rodriguez turned the National League Wild Card game into the Wild West Wednesday night – landing more hits than his entire team in a freaky dugout brawl with a Gatorade cooler. He stared at his Pirates counterpart and voice out his dissatisfaction with the pitcher’s decision.

He was then ejected, but not before freaking out on a Gatorade cooler, Muhammad Ali-style: three hard punches. Whatever it was, Rodriguez took his frustration out on the nearby cooler. Rodriguez took to Twitter to apologize on Thursday “for allowing my emotions to control my actions in a negative manner”. I also spoke to the cooler, apologized personally, and he’s forgiven me as Christ forgives all.
