Pistons recall Brandon Jennings after 1-game D-League stint

While it was believed he could play another game or two in the D-League before moving back up, Jennings instead has returned to the Detroit Pistons active roster. Tomorrow night, it’s Detroit at Miami.

Jennings sounds prepared to compete with veteran guard Steve Blake for burn. “Let’s go play for a spot”.

Hilliard finished with 23 points and Bullock added a game-high 29, while Jennings recorded a double-double in his first game action since tearing his Achilles in January with 11 points and 12 assists.

He is shooting 38% from three-point range since a 1-for-11 start to the season.

“He’s looking good; he’s still trying to get acclimated and get back”, Jackson said.

Jennings was playing for the Grand Rapids Drive as part of a rehab assignment.
