Rand Paul of Kentucky, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida and Mike Huckabee, the ex- governor of Arkansas, were closely bunched behind Trump in the survey.
Christie, like several in 2016 candidates, has also sought to distance himself from Trump’s controversial remarks about Mexican immigrants.

“It’s the difference of telling it like it is in Christie’s case and literally blowing your brains out on the sidewalk with no filter in the case of Donald Trump“, said Ford O’Connell, a GOP strategist and ex- John McCain campaign adviser.
During his rambling June 16 announcement that he was running for president, Trump said this about immigration: “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best”.
Now it’s her turn to pay Trump back – though not literally. She plans to be at the swanky Luxe Hotel on Sunset in Brentwood tomorrow night which is where and when Trump is scheduled to speak. Bush continues to lead on that, with 29 percent seeing him as the most likely nominee. “I will create jobs and the Latinos will have jobs that they don’t have right now and I will win that vote”.
