Plane diverted after shirtless man urinates on passenger, brawl on board
A shirtless passenger allegedly sparked a brawl on board a flight after urinating on a passenger.
Passengers on Air Meditarranee flight ML2673 said the man became annoyed because he was not allowed to drink alcohol or smoke during the 90-minute journey.
Another man involved in the melee also was removed from the Airbus A321 at Lyon, where the charter flight was delayed for about three hours.
Flight attendants pinned the man to the ground after he reportedly urinated on a fellow passenger and caused a fight.
The Standard has contacted Air Mediterranee for comment.
The plane carrying 166 passengers was diverted to Lyon-Saint-Exupery Airport before departing towards the Parisian airport of Roissy-Charles de Gaulle, said an airport source.
Although freaky, similar disturbances have occurred in the past.
