Play Elder Scrolls Online free this weekend
Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to play “The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited” for free as part of the service’s Free Play Weekend. The game will also be on sale at 60% off for the whole week until Monday, December 14, so if at any point during your playthrough are you smitten enough with Tamriel, there is enough incentive to get the whole thing.
Just a few days ago we reported that players can win $1 million just by playing The Elder Scrolls Online, while that was only for those who own the game, today we have some unbelievable news for players without a copy of The Elder Scrolls Online.
Now that sounds like a great deal to me. That means you purchase the game once and you are to play it with no additional fees. Xbox LIVE will sell 1,500 crown packs at 25 percent discount, 3,000 crown packs at 33 percent off, and 5,500 crown packs at 40 percent off. PC will have the same discounts available, but will also have 750 crown packs available for 25 percent off.
Tamriel Unlimited will be playable for free on PC and Xbox One this weekend, Bethesda has announced.
Unfortunately, PS4 owners isn’t included in this week’s free play weekend event, though Sony says it hopes to have a similar offer “in the near future”.
What are you going to do with your $1 million? Crowns are used to buy everything from mounts to DLC. Before you download, you’ll need a Free Play Weekend code which you can find across various websites, or even from a friend that’s now playing ESO! Or for a game that has seen major improvements since launch. But that didn’t do much to sway opinions on the game.
Those that have yet to try The Elder Scrolls Online or want to try the MMO role-playing title out on a different platform will get a chance the weekend starting on Thursday, December 10.
Let me know if this trial tempts you!
