Play Rainbow Six Siege for free this weekend with Xbox Live Gold
As revealed yesterday, Operation Skull Rain also includes one new offensive and defensive character, both from the BOPE unit in Brazil.
First off, players were introduced to the two new operators included in the DLC pack: Caveira and Capitão.
Xbox Live Gold members will be able to play Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege for free this upcoming weekend. Combining tactical maps, observation drones, and a new rappel system, Rainbow teams have more options than ever before to plan, attack, and diffuse these situations.
In a new video, the map – set in a Brazilian favela – was teased and it features plenty of claustrophobic alleys, rooftops and even fireworks in the night.
It is revealed that the update’s new map is the most indestructible “Rainbow Six Siege” map to date and players can access it for free.
The new map coming to Rainbow Six Siege soon looks pretty dense. A custom game mode, called Tactical Realism, will be added, making gameplay more realistic (and therefore more difficult) by removing the ability to mark enemies.
It’s been nearly three months since the last major update for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. which means the next scheduled content drop is coming soon.
Operation Skull Rain will be available on 2 August for all players of Rainbow Six Siege. The Operation Skull Rain expansion arrives on August 2, at which point the two new operators will be exclusive to season pass holders for the first seven days.
