PlayStation 4 outsells Xbox One on Black Friday according to report
Xbox One Bundles: There are lots of Xbox One bundles, but for this special day, gamers can get $50 off all of them.
The Black Friday offers at the Microsoft Store and Best Buy may last into the weekend, but are selling out fast. Since video game consoles are among the hottest selling items on Black Friday, Cyber Monday shoppers would be looking for the best bundled deals and asking themselves, “Should I get Sony’s PS4 or Microsoft’s Xbox One?”. At Walmart, you can snag its exclusive white Gears of War bundle with a free generic controller for $299.
For the Xbox One, while Microsoft Store is now running an attractive $60 bonus + free game offer (check them out here) – they are actually out of stock on the Lego Movie bundle, a rather surprising development. For the children, or “Star Wars” fans, the “Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition” Starter Pack is $44.99, a $10 discount. Now it is offering on top of its door-buster deals online for many of its video games, gaming consoles and the endless accessories and electronics on the cheap for Cyber Monday.
The report also revealed that the major part of it was Xbox’s consumer mindshare. An exploit allowing players to gather huge amount of resources was discovered earlier this month and even in the console versions of the game, another useful one was found. PlayStation bundles are very cost-efficient this year, but having so many options to choose from can be quite dazzling, especially if you are going to purchase one for the first time. Best Buy is the best alternative to find those. A new offering of lightning deals will start from midnight and this could be a lineup better than seen with Black Friday. Scoop it up if you want it. Gamestop also still has the $299.99 Uncharted Collection bundle, but, again, hard to tell how long it will last.
PS4 Star Wars: Battlefront bundle includes the new game, plus classics downloads Super Star Wars, Bounty Hunter, Jedi Star Fighter and Racer Revenge, all for $349 at Amazon and $349 at Walmart.
Not only are there tremendous deals on the PS4 itself, but also on games for the PS4.
This is according to a marketing study done by the InfoScout group, which tracked the purchases of over 250,000 receipts captured on mobile devices during Thanksgiving night and into Black Friday proper.
