PlayStation 4 sales increase 204% in the UK
Maybe Sony’s reason for not including a UHD BD player in the PS4 Pro was because they are planning to release a player strictly for professional installers in Spring 2017.
The PS4 Pro might be called the most powerful console ever made, but by introducing different graphical options for the same game it’s quite hard to work out how well it’s living up to that title.
The latest version of “The Last of Us Remastered” version 1.07 patch enables PlayStation 4 Pro (PS4 Pro) users to enjoy the game in all its 4K glory, in junction with its impressive HD graphics. Special offers on the Xbox One, and excitement surrounding the more powerful Xbox One S may have also contributed to it outselling the PlayStation 4 during the slow summer period of console purchasing.
They continued: “Generally speaking, The Last of Us has been an absolute joy to revisit on PS4 Pro”. It also compatible with PlayStation VR and will share the same user interface as the recently launched standard PS4.
Numbers are coming in and it seems that the PS4 Pro has helped the PS4 console sales significantly especially in the UK.
The issue of PS4 pro is spreading on gaming forums and all over the social media. There have been reports from PS4 Pro owners about TV connection failures, leaving the owner staring at a blank screen instead of staring at 4k HDR images – Forbes. Monolith has a brand new trailer available for the launch of the PlayStation 4 Pro, showing what the game looks like with the new hardware behind it. Games explode into life with intense graphics and incredibly lifelike details thanks to double the GPU power under the hood compared to the standard PS4.
HDR is really awesome and can really bring a new depth to the colors in your game but when it comes down to it 4K is 4K whether it’s HDR or not.
As noted in Eurogamer, The Last of Us Remastered generally plays just fine on a PS4 Pro.
Despite the drop in frame rates, however, the Digital Foundry team concludes that if played in the 30 fps mode, the game delivers native 4K gaming.
