PlayStation Now streaming service available today on Windows PCs
Sony has announced on its official PlayStation blog that its games are available for computers. In the USA and Canada, the company is also offering a 12-month deal for just $100.
PS Now for PC is currently available in the UK, US, and Canada – with the latter two being offered a special deal of a year’s subscription of PS Now for just $99.
After leaking the announcement earlier in this month, Sony followed through with quick launch in the United Kingdom and parts of Europe. Using PlayStation Now, gamers can stream more than 400 PlayStation 3 titles to their PC, giving them a chance to revisit old favorites from the previous generation or catching up on what they may have missed. This includes over 100 exclusive franchises and games such as God of War and Uncharted, The Last of Us and more.
For optimal performance running PS Now on your PC, Sony recommends the following specs: Windows 7, 8.1 or 10; an 3.5GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8GHz AMD A10 processor or faster; 300MB or more, plus 2GB or more of RAM. Someone will also need a DualShock 4 controller, either with the USB mini cable or USB wireless adaptor, a PlayStation Network account, and a PlayStation Now trial or subscription. Not to mention a 5Mbps or greater is required.
It releases early next month for $24.99 ($29.99 CAD).
