PlayStation Plus Members Get To Vote On Free Game Choices Soon
The game that receives the highest amount of votes will be automatically included in a “future monthly games lineup”, while other games that aren’t chosen would be sold at a discount. Once the voting has been done, the game with the most votes and holding the number 1 spot will be given out to PS Plus members for free. Sony hasn’t kicked off the voting just yet, but plans detailing it soon.
Vote to Play is not a monthly occurrence, instead it will be spaced at “regular intervals” throughout the year. Even if the game that you picked does not make the cut, you can still download and play the runner up at a discounted price. Sony has announced a new feature called Vote to Play, but it isn’t known yet when it will be released, to allow the players to vote for their favorite free games and help them get to the PS4. It is calling it “Vote to Play” and will let PlayStation+ members choose one game for the PlayStation 4 for its upcoming free titles. We love to listen to our fans – and we’re super excited to launch this promotion.
NeoGAF member that found the Vote-To-Play program on his console did manage to get a few screen-shots from the video that pointed out the PS networks latest and yet to come functionality. John Koller, VP of Platforms Marketing, has posted in a blog that the new PS Plus promotion literally puts the choice in your hand.
The leak includes three titles that members can supposedly vote for, and they are “Armello”, “Grow Home”, and “Zombie Vikings”, as said by Polygon.
