PM Modi gives Jaitley clean chit in cricket board case
As the news of Jaitley arriving at court reached the masses, scores of BJP supporters arrived on the premises and it echoed with cries of ‘Kejriwal chor hai’.

Shah had met Kirti Azad twice on Friday and conveyed that going public with more charges against Jaitley would hurt the party and the government, source said. “It is unfortunate that the defamation case was not filed against me”, Azad said.
Noted criminal lawyer Ram Jethmalani will represent Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the civil and criminal defamation suits filed against him by Jaitley.
New Delhi:Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday came out in support of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, saying he will come out of the DDCA corruption charges with “flying colours”.
Kejriwal told the Delhi assembly that the CBI raided his office – the CBI denies this happened – because he claimed it was looking for a file on the DDCA severely critical of Jaitley. “The Congress tried to implicate Advani in the hawala case but it boomeranged on it”, Modi added. Kejriwal said that he would stand by his officials unless charges of corruption being levelled against them were proved.
Azad, BJP’s MP from Darbhanga in Bihar, has put the party in a hard spot by claiming that his fight was against the corruption in sports.

He also said Kejriwal’s party was politicising the DDCA issue and warned that it would harm AAP in the long run. He said he had done no wrong by raising an issue involving Jaitley.
“All defendants individually and collectively have made themselves liable to compensate the plaintiff for a sum of Rs 10 crore”, they said, appealing to the court to pass a decree of damages against the defendants. Senior Bihar BJP leader Sushil Modi charged Darbhanga MP for “playing in the hands of opposition” and demanded “disciplinary action” against Azad.
