Pokemon Go: Coding error gave company access to emails

While big Pokemon games have only ever appeared on Nintendo hardware before, Nintendo proper does not make the games and was not deeply involved in Go’s development.

“Our officers ask people out on the street when they see them, ‘Are you catching Pokémon?” said Genevieve Judge of the Sarasota Police Department.

Pokemon Go comes with warnings to players to remain aware of their surroundings.
