Pokemon GO Ditto: What We Know So Far
But why has nobody found a Ditto yet?
Pokemon GO is now available in some countries.
At first, many rationalised Ditto’s absence because it was possible that it wouldn’t be released until Pokemon GO got a breeding mechanic, as Ditto can partner up with nearly any Pokemon to make new eggs.
Until the developers reveal any information, it looks like we are in for a long wait to see when Ditto and the other legendaries will come to the mobile game.
The easter egg can be seen in the form of the Poke Ball menu.
Does Ditto even Exist in “Pokemon GO”? In some cases like catching Ditto, it makes it impossible! I mean, it’s not like Ditto is a legendary, so why wouldn’t it just be in the game like everyone else?
Another theory that was tried was evolving a Pokemon with the exact same stats as Ditto, with the Pokemon also being named “Ditto”.
Some players have opted to take actual photos of Bulbasaur because in “Pokemon Snap”, a Ditto transformed into a Bulbasaur.
Ditto rearranges its cell structure to transform itself into other shapes.
No dice. But hey, it’s pretty neat that you can name a critter a straight-up smiley face, no? Their efforts may be futile because it may be possible that like other legendaries including Mew, Mewtwo, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, including Ditto may just not be available yet.
“Ditto makes it’s first appearance in the episode “Ditto’s Mysterious Mansion” as a Pikachu”. But so far, no poking or prodding of Geodude’s butt has produced anything of note, other than the sinking feeling that we’re entering Chiliad Mystery territory. It’s used as a notification for events in Pokemon GO as it vibrates and lights up when something happens in the game.
Pokemon GO players have yet to discover Ditto in the game although he has been located in the source code of the game, complete with his own description. One thing is sure though; when Ditto arrives, fans will wonder if breeding will be available in the game as well. Some players have already managed to collect all 142 Pokemon in the game, but they know for a fact that the well-loved animated series has 151 to collect.
Players score points in various ways, including capturing the Pokemon characters with a flick of a finger on their phone screen. The simplest explanation seems to be that Niantic has not put Ditto in the game yet, for whatever reason.
