Pokemon Go player crashes into USA cop vehicle
In the video, several officers can be seen standing on the sidewalk near a parked cruiser.
The frightening footage was captured on the body-worn camera of one of the officers, and shows the auto veering off the main road and crashing directly into the patrol vehicle.
Police in Baltimore are urging “Pokemon Go” players to pay attention to their surroundings, for some serious reasons. “It’s all good”, the police department spokesman said about playing the Pokemon Go app. “But there’s a danger element that’s associated with this”. Fortunately, the officer was not inside of his patrol auto. The female driver of the Chevy had stopped in the roadway and was attempting to make a left turn when her auto was hit.
How obsessive compulsive has the mobile reality game Pokemon Go become? Baltimore police said they have not yet determined charges for the driver or released his name, The Baltimore Sun reported on Tuesday. The driver got out of his vehicle and explained what led to the crash. People who are cheating at Pokemon GO get banned, but people who drive and play Pokemon GO should expect to endure far worse circumstances. “This could have easily, easily ended in tragedy. There could have been somebody inside that vehicle, but fortunately, there wasn’t”, said T.J. Smith, chief of Media Relations for Baltimore police.
