Pokken Tournament Release Date: Shadow Mewtwo Trailer Shows Game’s Possible
Players will fight Dark Mewtwo in special crystalline battelfield as new characters uses all of his well-known pyschic attacks with added flare of Dark based powers.
The Pokémon Company worldwide has today teased Shadow Mewtwo’s appearance in Pokkén Tournament, after the character was discovered in the brawler’s arcade version in Japan. A few even speculated he could be Mega Mewtwo Z, but now we have a name.
“Pokken Tournament” is made to utilize Pokemon in battles.
Game Rant reported that the new evolution of Mewtwo is totally different from its previous versions.
“Dark Mewtwo” may be hinting at the existence of “Pokemon Z” but it may also be yet another time-exclusive event gift such as the recently released Shiny Xerneas and Shiny Yveltal.

The character roster of “Pokken Tournament” for Wii U is already filled with many characters, these include Lucario, Charizard, MaChamp, Blaziken, Gardevoir, Suicine, and of course, Pikachu. Hopefully, whenever Pokkén Tournament gets a stateside release on the Wii U in North America, his English speaking fans will get to have a go with the new form.
