Polar Bear Cub Sleeps And Dreams With Cuddly Toy In Adorable Clip
The cub, who has born on November 6 and has not yet been named, now weighs just 4 pounds and is 16-inches-long, according to the Facebook post. Her eyes aren’t fully open yet.
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium released video of a 5-week-old polar bear catching some zzzs.
Initially, Aurora was caring for her surviving cub, and the Columbus Zoo animal team, in conjunction with recommendations from other polar bear breeding facilities, made the decision not to intervene.
The cub can also be seen lolling her tongue and stretching out her arms in her dreamy state.
The cub is now under 24/7 care and is on six feedings a day, every four hours.
The video is providing viewers several moments of contentment too, as they take in the mega-cuteness of the cub cuddling with a stuffed animal and snoozing.
She’s not doing much, but boy, can she dream (and make the most adorable little noises).
Yep, we’re obsessed. Can we have a polar bear cub live steam next, please? “Survival rates in human care are around 50% which is similar to that of wild bears”.
