Police hold two men after woman’s body found in auto boot

This discovery was made after police in the city received a call on Thursday afternoon at around 7.35pm reporting that a woman’s body was in the boot of a auto in the Heywood area.

Investigators then followed a auto fitting the description after spotting it in Claybank Street, at around 3:50pm on Friday.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman’s body was found in the boot of a auto in Greater Manchester.

Police immediately gave chase as the auto sped off.

The vehicle was later abandoned on a nearby street where the body was discovered.

Two men were detained and arrested on suspicion of murder.

A GMP spokesman said its inquiries were ongoing.
