Police look into Playboy model’s post of naked woman at gym

LA Fitness has revoked the membership of 2015 Playmate of the Year Dani Mathers because of a Snapchat post she made of a nude club member in an LA Fitness locker room.

Mathers previously posted the photo of the naked woman on Snapchat, with the caption “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either”.

Critics accused Mathers of body-shaming the woman. We ended her membership and she can not use any club.

Mathers later apologized, deleted the post and claimed she only meant to send it to one friend, and she didn’t understand how the social media app worked.

“Her behavior is appalling and puts every member at risk of losing their privacy”, said Jill Greuling, the company’s executive vice president of operations. “I know that body-shaming is wrong”.

The 29-year-old has already lost a job on a radio show and been banned from ever returning to any location of the gym chain, LA Fitness, where she snapped the shot.

Captain Andrew Neiman of the LAPD confirmed that they obtained a report from LA Fitness concerning “illegal distribution” and stated that detectives were looking into the matter, according to the Los Angeles Times. “I have never done this before, I will never do this again, you have my word”.

“This is not only our rule, but common decency”, she said.

Greuling said that using cellphones to take photos in their locker rooms is strictly prohibited. This was meant to be a part of a private conversation that never should have happened.

Mathers’ so-called apology is more “sorry I got caught” rather than “sorry I did this in the first place”.

On social media, users called for Mathers to be permanently suspended.

Reports suggested Ms Mathers’ action may have been illegal under California law. If the victim comes forward, Mathers may face a misdemeanor charge, Entertainment Tonight reported. So, regardless of whether not or not her victim elects to come forward, Mathers is already having a bad July.
