Police looking for Fifth Third Bank robber
Police in Battle Creek are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect in a Saturday morning bank robbery. He approached a teller, displayed a handgun and demanded money.
Around 8:30 p.m. police say a man went into a business in the 800 block of 8th Street East with a large knife and ran away with cash. Multiple officers immediately filled the area but could not find the suspect.
The man was described as white, between 5-feet-9 and 5-feet-11 inches tall with a skinny build and a day’s growth of facial hair. The auto was last seen heading west on Route 111. He was wearing a long-sleeve white shirt with a logo of a skull with wings, jeans and a baseball cap.
A weapon was implied but was not seen.
