Police name deceased in fall from Toronto apartment

Toronto homicide detectives are investigating after two people were found dead after falling from a highrise.

Det. Andy Singh told media at the scene the two individuals lived at the apartment building.

Investigators say the pair had a relationship of some kind but didn’t elaborate.

On Monday, police identified the man and woman as 43-year-old Robert Giblin and 33-year-old Precious Charbonneau, both of Toronto.

The Canadian Department of National Defence confirms Giblin was a sergeant from the Joint Task Force Central (JTFC) based out of the Denison Armoury in Toronto. “Our thoughts and condolences go out to Sgt. Robert Giblin’s family and friends”.

Police are telling reporters that they are not searching for any suspects, and that the incident appears to be isolated.
