Police officer shot after responding to domestic incident in Westmoreland County

Reed was shot and taken to Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown where he was pronounced dead.

Shetler will be charged with homicide and two other counts related to the domestic situation, Westmoreland County District Attorney John Peck told The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Pennsylvania State Police captured Shetler without incident, police said. Online court records indicate he has not yet been arraigned.
