Police probe Cornell brawl that left Ithaca student dead
Police identified Anthony Nazaire, 19, of Brooklyn, as the IC student who died from his injuries after he was transported to the Cayuga Medical Center.
Rawlings said, “Of the many eyewitnesses, including those who may possess cell-phone videos, some have given testimony or provided videos while others have not”.
Officials say that Nazaire attended an orientation party hosted by the Cornell chapter of Omega Psi Phi.
Anthony’s older sister Kiara Nazaire told People magazine that this meaningless tragedy started with a simple push.
Nazaire’s family said he was from Brooklyn and spent the summer working on Coney Island, said The Cornell Sun.

A Wells College student who knew Nazaire since high school attended the service and said he often helped with her school work..

Rochon said a campuswide gathering is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday at the school’s chapel. No further information about the second student has been released. “I wish we could have got there a few minutes earlier”. “Everybody knows he’s a gift from God”.
Police have not confirmed if they have a suspect at this time and are continuing to investigate the crime.
Nazaire was pronounced dead at the hospital.
“He was a really nice kid”, Amber Edwards said.
“What saddens me the most is he didn’t die here in Flatbush but died away at school”, she said, adding that this was the first murder in Ithaca in almost five years. The weapon was located and the area secured, however, the weapon used hasn’t been specified, the New York Daily News reported.
