Police say cocaine found in tour bus where Scott Weiland found dead
Since the news broke of the rocker’s untimely passing, many have speculated about what may have caused the industry vet’s death at only 48-years-old.
They also found another small amount of the same substance in an area of the bus occupied by Black … who is a guitarist for Scott Weiland and The Wildabouts. Black was booked and is now being held at the Bloomington Police Department, pending charges for possession of a controlled substance.
At this time, there is no information about the cause of Weiland’s death; the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office will release its findings once an autopsy is conducted.
Detectives discovered the controlled substance after searching the tour bus where the former Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver singer, who had had a long complicated relationship with substance abuse, was found.

According to other outlets, an arrest was made today after authorities allegedly found cocaine in the room of the motel where Weiland’s tour bus was parked.
At the time of his death, Weiland had been touring with his new band, the Wildabouts.
Stone Temple Pilots reunited in 2008 and began recording its sixth self-titled studio album which was released in 2010.
