Police searching for Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter
Charles Sykes/AP Chelsea (r.) suffers from mental illness and did not have her medication with her when she ran way from O’Donnell’s home August. E! News just recently confirmed that 17-year old was found at the home of Steven Sheerer.
Police in South Nyack, New York, informed authorities in Barnegat, New Jersey, on Tuesday that they believed Chelsea was there, Lt. Keith Germain, spokesman for Barnegat police, told the Associated Press. In perhaps warning other parents, the celebrity tweeted this out about the young man: The story was in reference to Steve Sheerers 2012 arrest when he was stopped in a auto with a woman who had heroin on her while her children were in the back seat. Though there was no evidence of any sexual contact or crime committed, obviously as a concerned mother, Rosie ODonnell has her reservations.
Chelsea O’Donnell, 17, is one of four children O’Donnell is raising with her ex Kelli Carpenter. “We don’t have anything that indicates that there would be criminal charges at this point“. He also continued by saying, “It looks like she ran away from up there and came down here and ended up at his residence”.
Naturally, O’ Donnell is less than stoked given that she tweeted this. She thanked her followers “for all the help and light”. “We do all our best”.
She added: “when someone u love is drowning in the rapids – u throw everything u can into the water – hoping they will grab on – stay afloat #believe”. Sheerer initially denied that Chelsea was there, but cops didn’t buy it and she was quickly found on the premises.
The teenager, that eventually left own home together aid pup, a limited browned and chocolate terrier, halted getting her pharmaceutical and is subject for medical assistance, O’Donnell said. Shortly after the whole incident, in a Wednesday morning, O’Donnell and her daughter were reunited at the family’s home.
