Police seek suspect in armed robbery of business

Police believe they have made a breakthrough in cellphone shop robberies in Uitenhage and Port Elizabeth‚ after they arrested three men on Thursday night.

Anderson has prior convictions of aggravated robbery and attempting to elude law enforcement in Leavenworth County, Kansas Department of Corrections records show.

Mounties in West Kelowna linked multiple bank robberies committed in late 2017 to one suspect, who has since been taken into police custody and faces potential charges. Officers secured the scene and called for detectives to respond.

North Olmsted police have charged a 39-year-old North Olmsted man with robbing a bank March 28.

Thomason said a passer-by called 911 after seeing a “suspicious” man enter the building. Police say they ran out of the bank in an unknown direction.

Police say around 3pm, witnesses saw a black four-door Mercedes parking on St. Andrew St. west of Argyle St.

The suspect walked up to a teller and handed over a note demanding money and stating he was armed.

No weapon was seen by bank staff, and the two people didn’t speak with staff through the intercom.
