Police warn of child porn video being shared through social media
Knoxville police have received reports that people in the area have been sent a video containing child pornography on Facebook.
Other agencies, including the Chicago Police Department, have said they are investigating as well.
The sheriff’s office says Facebook users should not open any message from a person they do not know.
The Maryland State Police and the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force are aware of a viral video being shared through social media depicting apparent child pornography.
The sheriff’s office also warned that the video or image may be posted on user’s timelines or appear in their news feed.
“Child Pornography is illegal to possess, and illegal to send out”.

There have been multiple reports of a suspect being arrested in connection with this case. FBI and federal prosecutors are investigating the video that’s now making its rounds on Facebook. Do not save the video or screenshots of the video on your phone.
The Clarksville Police Department says it is investigating cases from over the weekend associated with the video.
