Portal, Halo: Reach, Fable 3 get Xbox One back compatibility
Just Cause 3 is constantly being kicked out as we try to boot it up on Xbox One, as is Assassin’s Creed 2 on the backwards compatibility service.
If you favourite Xbox 360 game hasn’t been added, don’t worry.
It places importance on fan feedback when deciding which games should be added to the catalog and then works with the game’s publisher to that end, Xbox One owners can provide their feedback here on the Xbox 360 titles that they would like to see added to the catalog.
Xbox Live users on both consoles have also reported issues using the game invites system and receiving toast notifications from friends.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Kane & Lynch 2, Halo: Reach and Fable 3 were all available online and in-store. This seems to happen when gamers have tried to launch an Xbox One game.
Perhaps not surprisingly, it’s also found that one of the most-used features of the update is the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility.
The company could have a new batch of titles available for the program in mid-January, but that’s speculation at best. In total, there are sixteen additional titles now playable thanks to backwards compatibility.
These are arguably some of the bigger titles coming to Backwards Compatibility, and the fact that they’ve not been released in this latest update will come as a disappointment to many. Since suffering a major cyberattack last Christmas that took the service offline for an entire day, Microsoft’s Xbox Live has gone offline multiple times.
