Ports feeling the force of Star Wars: The Force Awakens

It’s the first since the Lucas Films series was acquired by Disney and marks the beginning of a new trilogy that essentially reboots the entire Star Wars universe. “It reminded me of when I was in Tunisia on the salt flats”, he said. We previously saw him apparently speaking with the melted helmet of Darth Vader, the villain from “Star Wars” episodes IV, V and VI. Because, let’s not be stupid here, there would be no Star Wars without lightsaber battles.

One Facebook user commented on the ageless appearance of the Wookiee seen in the trailer, to which the official Star Wars Facebook account replied, “Wookies have a very long lifespan”. His iconic character has been conspicuously absent from recent teaser clips and promotional pictures. And I believe in J.J.’s vision. Come on. I mean, how do these people understand any movie that doesn’t spell itself out? “But I’m good about keeping secrets”.

Takodana, D’Qar and Hosnian Prime are the names of the new planets in the new “Star Wars Universe”.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will be released in some theaters on December 16 in France, December 17 in the United Kingdom, and December 18 in the United States.

Perhaps the most important bit in the trailer is the inclusion of more Han Solo and Chewbacca.

The film, which is released in just 20 days or so, has recently been completely finished by director JJ Abrams. Plus we hear the voice of his master, Snoke, to be played by Andy Serkis (who memorably brought Gollum to life in Lord of the Rings).

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens December 18th, or 16th in some countries.
