“When is Game of Thrones coming back?” is a question that constantly plagues fans of both the HBO series and George R.R. Martin’s ongoing series of source novels.

Earlier today, Thrones shared its first Season 7 image (which turned out to be the ice block) and poster.

GAME Of Thrones fans have been treated to the first look at series 7 of the hit HBO show. That event involved watching a block of ice melt which concealed the premiere date. However, as you well know, the seventh season is a bit delayed. The reason for the delay was previously explained by showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss on the UFC Unfiltered podcast. HBO tease with its poster that does not say much and we are eager to finally discover a trailer of the suite to help us wait until this summer. It’s July now, I think. If this is true, that means Season 7 will conclude with the burning of the wall. Tweeting about her shock after reading the script, Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark in the show, wrote: “I’d start preparing yourselves now”.
