Powerball jackpot totals $301M for Wednesday’s drawing

The jackpot has been growing since a California man named Willie Nelson won $110 million in early August. The local Food Lion store received a $10,000 bonus from the Virginia Lottery for selling the winning ticket. A year ago New York’s Powerball sales fell by $217 million, a 44 percent drop.
