Powerball jackpot up to $500M; winning numbers drawing Wednesday

As anticipation grows for tonight’s Powerball drawing, so does the size of the jackpot – which now stands at a $500 million annuity worth $306 million cash.

Wednesday’s numbers are 2-11-47-62-63 Powerball 17 Powerplay 3x. The estimated Powerball jackpot for Wednesday night has soared to $500 million.

A spokeswoman for the Texas Lottery couldn’t immediately say after the drawing whether there was a victor. Hopefuls are flocking to lottery counters across the area and of course, everyone has big plans if they hit it big.

The $500 million is an annuitized amount, so you won’t get all of that if you choose to get a lump sum payment. “Once in a while you have to go for it just to see maybe you will win maybe you’re not”.

The jackpot will be the largest since a Powerball prize that climbed to $564.1 million last February before it was won by players from North Carolina, Texas and Puerto Rico.
