Powerball’s record $1.586 billion jackpot has 3 winners
Representatives for the Tennessee and Florida lotteries couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
Those tickets, purchased with the PowerPlay option, matched four of the five white balls in addition to the Powerball. Those tickets were sold in 13 different cities, including Richmond and Lapel.
The winners will share a prize of $1.586 billion.
The California Lottery tweeted just minutes after the drawing that they had a winning ticket sold in the state.
The California Lottery confirmed late Wednesday that one ticket for the $1.59 billion Powerball jackpot matched all six winning numbers.
Wednesday’s winning numbers were: 8, 27, 34, 4 and 19 with a Powerball of 10.
The identity of the victor is not yet known.
A ticket worth $1 million for matching all 5 numbers but no Power Play was also sold in New Jersey, along with 43 tickets worth $50,000 each.

“I’m really happy”, an employee of the Chino Hills 7-Eleven told the Los Angeles Times.
The chance to win big drew countless customers to convenience stores across the country and across the state, despite an odd of about 1 in 252 million of winning.
This is the second Powerball jackpot victor in Tennessee in a row.
The winners can choose to have the payment in a lump sum of US$930 million (NZ$1.431 billion) after tax, or the full US$1.5B in payments over 29 years.
Six $100,000 tickets were sold throughout the state, including one at Blue Valley Lanes at Route 33 and 512 in Wind Gap, according to lottery officials.
