Praise The Lord: Brooklyn Cops Find Gun In Hollowed Bible

After pulling over a vehicle for having tinted windows, Brooklyn police officers found a loaded gun concealed inside of a fake Bible. Police say the three people inside the auto were taken into custody and charged with two counts of weapons possession and unlawful possession of marijuana.

“The dangers our officers encounter, ” Tweeted NYPD Deputy Inspector Richard G. DiBlasio.

Police officers with the 70th precinct in Brooklyn found a pistol hidden in a case that was designed to resemble the Bible. Investigators said they found marijuana, a gravity knife and the hollowed-out King James Bible containing a loaded Glock 17. “The defendant stated that the gun was in the vehicle in a ‘Bible safe, ‘ and that the key was in the driver’s side dashboard”.

When cops approached the auto at 2:30 a.m., they smelled marijuana, cops said. And when they looked inside the auto, they say they saw the 24-year-old driver, Deshawn Thompson, holding an open can of Guinness.
