Pre-Order WWE 2K16 to Play as Arnold Schwarzenegger ‘The Terminator’

Arnold Schwarzenegger, fresh from his star turn in the Compare the Meerkat ads, reprises his role as The Terminator for 2K’s upcoming game. That’s right, if you step into the ring with a pre-order, you’ll unlock access to two iterations of T-800 – one based upon the original 1984 movie, and another inspired by Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

Schwarzenegger and WWE have had a very busy relationship this year.

That’s right, The Terminator will be a pre-order exclusive for the upcoming release of WWE 2K16. Longtime WWE fans might know that this is the first time a non-wrestler will join the roster of the game.

Schwarzenegger was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year and of course Triple H’s WrestleMania 31 entrance featured a Terminator tie-in to promote Terminator Genysis, which is now in theaters. WWE 2K16 releases for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in North America on October 27, with an worldwide release following three days later. And even if you have no interest in it, it’s probably worth giving the trailer below a watch just to see how ridiculous/awesome the whole thing is.
