President Obama sings ‘Happy Birthday’ to Usher

The video was filmed on October. 14, when Usher visited the White House to perform at an event to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Lucky Usher had a rather presidential birthday surprise this year.

Before later sharing the moment on Facebook, captioning the video: “So this really happened the other night…”

The former “The Voice” coach seemed humbled – and in total disbelief – by the experience, at one point, turning to the videographer and asking, “Are you getting this?”

‘I couldn’t be more grateful for this moment and all of the birthday wishes from everyone.

Of course it isn’t the first time Obama has sung in public.

Usher got the surprise of the century when President Barack and Michelle Obama a happy birthday song as he turned 37 while visiting the White House.

“That’s a good cupcake, too”, the President said.
