President Obama to Meet with Bernie Sanders at the White House
Although it’s Sanders who now looks like the one reluctant to join the extra debate, the Vermont senator had assured Maddow that he’d be up for one more meeting. “Anybody that has been following this knows that the people of New Hampshire pushed for this debate”, said John Bivona, spokesman for former Maryland governor Martin O’Malley, according to the Union Leader. Sanders, as expected, kept to his singular beat, though pointing out that just because Clinton has the experience doesn’t “means she’s always right”, and he emphasized her wrong decision on Iraq. The most recent Fox News Poll in Iowa showed Sanders closing the gap, but Clinton still leading by 6 points.

A fundraising email from Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook says: “The New York Times reported this morning that Bernie Sanders and his advisors are convening to decide whether to air a devastating ad attacking Hillary in the final days before the Iowa caucus”.
“Senator Sanders and I share the same goal, we both want universal coverage”, she said of her health care plan. “In 2006 when I ran for the Senate, Sen”.

So why is Sanders now standing in the way of a final New Hampshire debate? “Sanders has significant momentum”, Sanders’ campaign said.
Sanders didn’t seem to think so. “But if there is a large turnout, I think we can win; if not I think we are going to be struggling”. “Why is that? The answer is obvious”.
Weaver said Clinton was “asking to change the rules to schedule a debate next week that is not sanctioned by the DNC”. The biggest difference between them, is that Clinton has the actual ability to work with this miserable Congress to make some of these issues a reality, and Sanders would have a much tougher time (more like impossible).
