Pretty Little Liars Recap 11/24/15 Special Episode “5 Years Forward”
Pretty Little Liars season 6’s special episode 5 Years Forward will air on ABC Family on 24 November in the U.S. and the episode promises to offer more details about how the girls Hanna, Emily, Alison, Aria and Spencer have spent their lives during the last five years.
If you got used to the traditional Pretty Little Liars holiday specials (you know, the creepy-as-heck ones that kept you up alllll night with visions of baby doll masks in your head?!) sadly, this one won’t be quite as scary. But “that is taken away from him very quickly and violently”, Harding warned.
According to a report in Hollywood Life, King told them that “Pretty Little Liars” will be getting a movie treatment after the series ends on television. Hanna’s loss is the fandom’s gain, pretty much.
Now, Spencer works on Capitol Hill and is a lobbyist/”glorified coffee-gofer” with “high political aspirations”.
Marlene introduces a clip that takes place in between 6A and 6B. “You get to take a romance that’s been working for six years and kind of watch the moment when it all crumbles”, Bellisario says.
Spencer was off the Georgetown after the “A” debacle, with Bellisario saying she “really finally got to focus on her academics”. He buys three acres outside of Rosewood to build his dream house.
Emily and Spencer will both be single, which means the latter will no longer be with her long-time boyfriend Toby (Allen). Though it won’t advance the story, it will give us little clues as to what the new season will hold, which should be enough to make any PLL fan freak. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen, and Emily’s father has also passed away in the time between seasons. Allen says that Toby has a chance meeting – more specifically, he “walks into a robbery and apprehends the suspects – with a girl named Yvonne Phillips who becomes “an important person in his story and his life”. You’re not victims, you’re on top of this right away and I think that’s a big difference between moving forward and the past”, King said. Alison assures her Charlotte is better.
“I think it’s really fun for the fans to see this new relationship bloom because a lot of Alison’s relationships have been interesting and dysfunctional a little bit”, says Pieterse with a laugh. That said, because he’s her sister’s doctor, Ali needs to keep their relationship a secret – like she needs another secret to keep. The new episodes will start airing starting January 12.
