Pretty Little Liars Season 6 Recap: 6.12: Charlotte’s Web

As was the time jump, it’s been five years since Hanna, Aria, Spencer and Emily were spotted in Rosewood. After confirming that Ezra does in fact have at least a first draft written, Aria asked the important question: “Where did you go?” Are you loving Spaleb as much as we are? Ezra quickly sent Aria back to her hotel, but we never saw where he went from there.

Aria (Lucy Hale) found herself the centre of her friends’ suspicions when it came to figuring out who killed Charlotte (Vanessa Ray).

In this week’s continuation of events, the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for Episode 12 titled “Charlotte’s Web” said that the Liars will start to look at one of their own in light of the recent mystery.

Ezra will always love Aria. Aria tells Ezra that if he talks to the cops – he has to lie and say he didn’t see her the night that Charlotte was killed. After the funeral, she leaves with an unknown man, without saying anything to anyone. I have reason to believe that Emily is suffering from an illness she wants to protect her friends and family from learning the truth. She’s been doing her treatments in Rosewood even though she lives in California now and needs it to work.

Emily and Pam talk at The Brew and Pam sees an appointment reminder for Hollis Medical Center flash across Emily’s phone screen.

Considering season 7 is most likely the end of the road for the liars, we better find out! Ha! Hanna reminds Aria that the police are going to ask them about “that night” – a.k.a. when they all got wasted at Chateau Radley – and Aria reminds her that they were all together. “They say that, but I think they would be devastated if any of their characters died”. Meanwhile, Ari is back at work in Boston – and she is apparently hooking up with her boss Mr. Greene. Not to mention that Ezra is also looking very guilty, and even Aria is starting to suspect her ex-boyfriend of offing the troubled sister of Alison. As previously reported by EW, around the table is Ali, Emily, Spencer, Caleb, Hanna, and Jordan, Hanna’s fiancé (played by David Coussins). But, they made dinner plans with Alison. Which makes sense but is also TOTALLY UNFAIR because…remember how Charlotte locked them all in a torture dollhouse and the Rosewood PD still released her? When Spencer is alone with Caleb, she fears that it’ll be her fault if her mother loses the election. She tried waiting for her to return, but Aria arrived at nearly five in the morning. She wants him to deny that they saw each other the night of Charlotte’s death.

Secret No. 2: Emily has something cancer-y. She also invites everyone to dinner at the DiLaurentis house. She holds eye contact with Hanna. Emily arrives and chats with Hanna, she reveals that she is going to be staying in Rosewood for a while. It does seem that Caleb still has feelings for Hanna, and vice-versa, so things are going to get a bit awkward.

Spencer and Caleb definitely hooked up.
