Prince Harry Joins Walking With The Wounded’s ‘Walk of Britain’
Prince Harry has joined fearless soldiers on their own personal roads to recovery, trekking the length of the UK.
The Walk of Britain, he said, would pass through “communities in which our service personnel and veterans grew up and now live”, he said.
He also said more needed to be done to get rid of the stigma of talking about mental health problems. “So we just need to be able to understand that and appreciate that these guys need a little bit of support, they don’t want pity, just a little bit of support and then they can get their life back on track”, he added.
“Mental health is a sensitive subject but it doesn’t need to be”.

Prince Harry returned from his three-month wildlife conservation trip to Africa bearing a handsome souvenir in the form of a few rather dashing facial fuzz.
“It’s great to have him here and I’m sure if he could, he’d do every day”.

The surprised and delighted children of St Lawrence’s Primary School in nearby Church Stretton ended up “hitting hands” with the Prince, as he flew in to join this leg of the journey.
A spokesperson for Crown Clinic, who carried out the research, said: ‘Prince Harry is a trendsetter for lots of men around the world and the reaction to his beard has been universally positive.
“I love spending time with these guys”, he continued.
The arduous 72-day walk is set to finish at Buckingham Palace on November 1.
Walking With The Wounded assists veterans left injured or disadvantaged by service with the aim of helping them gain as much independence in their lives outside the armed forces. Despite having been walking since August 22, the veterans looked pleased to be spending time with their royal patron.
