Prince Philip aims F-Word at photographer
Britain’s Duke of Edinburgh is courting controversy for apparently using some fruity language as he seemed to lose patience with a dithering photographer.
“Just take the f**king picture”, Prince Philip yelled out as he waved his finger.
Prince Philip has been caught on camera appearing to swear at an RAF photographer during a Battle of Britain commemoration.
The photographer kept his cool, and can be heard saying “eyes on me” moments before taking the photo.
Hearing the elderly royal casually drop the f-word got a lot of laughs out of the people posing for the picture, and even his grandson Prince William found his frustrated expletive amusing!
Later, the RAF Club in London’s Piccadilly hosted a lunch for the six Battle of Britain veterans and members of the royal party including Prince Philip, William, Sophie and Edward.
The fight between the air forces was given its name by Winston Churchill, and ultimately represented the first defeat for Nazi Germany in World War II.
The event was held after Philip had joined the Queen and other senior royals on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch a flypast that included four Spitfires and two Hurricanes, the iconic aircraft from the battle.
