Prince William and Kate Middleton’s daughter’s baptism: Princess Charlotte’s
The Telegraph reports that unlike Prince George who has seven godparents, Royal sources suggest that Charlotte will have a more even six.
The tiny Royal tot is set to make an appearance when she’s christened on Sunday. The original, a silk, satin and lace garment made for Queen Victoria’s first child in 1841, had been worn by every royal baby since and up to 2008. The gown is a replica of one commissioned by Queen Victoria in the 19th century.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will also bring along toddler son Prince George, who turns two later this month.
The service will be performed by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby.
Godparents have yet to be announced. There is still speculation that Prince Harry could be chosen, despite his absence at the christening. Pippa will be there but not Harry; he’s in Africa on a conservation mission.
Sunday, beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET. The church is located on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate.

The Peruvian – Diana’s favourite photographer – has worked with William and Kate, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and the late Princess before, but never done an official shoot which included the Queen.
The websites of Hello!, Marie Claire, Elle and other magazines were awash with pictures of Britain’s royal family and photos of and by Testino, 60, celebrated for his candid shots of musicians, fashion models, film stars and royalty.
As the venue, it’s a departure from the norm; royal babies this close to the throne are usually christened in London. It differs from Prince George’s christening, which was held in at St. James’ Palace.
Mario Testino is the day’s official photographer and will capture the Duke and Duchess’s first public outing with both of their children.
The ceremony itself will be private for friends and family, however.
The event is honored by The Royal Mint, who has revealed the design of the little princess’ baptism coin.
Graham Butland, EACH Chief Executive, said in a statement that the charity was “honoured” to receive flowers from Princess Charlotte’s christening and will be distributing them to “hospices for our families, volunteers and staff to enjoy”.
