Prince William Didn’t Disapprove of Prince Harry’s Statement on Meghan Markle Relationship
An insider told the Daily Mail how Prince William supposedly reacted. Reports even claimed that he was unhappy that his brother had gone public with his relationship with the actress.
In the initial statement, the Palace said the 32-year-old Prince rarely undertook formal action over “fictional stories” but the past week had seen “a line crossed”.
Prince William has released a rare statement about his brother’s relationship. It is unknown whether Harry has yet introduced Meghan Markle to Queen Elizabeth but that date is certainly on the way if it hasn’t happened already. Prince Harry has better things to do, like pose with locals and take in gorgeous views during his current trip to the Caribbean.
Prince Harry and Prince William now share media advisers, so any matter that could affect one-another are always thoroughly discussed. This means, it would be impossible for the statement to come out without William’s knowledge. Prince William issued one such profession of his own before he began dating Kate Middleton, completely shooting down rumors of a possible relationship with friend Jecca Craig.
In case you missed it, earlier this month in an unprecedented move, Harry released an official statement through Kensington Palace asking people to give Markle, his “girlfriend” of a “few months” some space. It also called for the negative comments about Meghan Markle to stop. In private, he agrees with the relationship, but believes that Harry was wrong and expressed his feelings in public.’, revealed a source close to the Kensington Palace.
“With the racial undertones and the harassment against her family, Harry felt it was not acceptable for him to say nothing”, the source added. Us Weekly reported that now that Markle has finished filming Season 6 of “Suits”, she plans to spend some time with her royal beau. The Telegraph writes that the heir to the British throne was “wary” about Harry’s statement about Meghan, but that he was not angered by what some saw as Harry’s impetuous decision to release the statement. During Harry’s visit to Antigua, Prime Minister Gaston Browne made a remark in front of more than 300 guests.
